Jacquelyn Hewitt

Jacquelyn currently lives in the small artist community of Toledo Oregon. She received her Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art at Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughn, Ireland in April 2004. Her course of study terminated with a public exhibition at the College as well as participation in an earlier group exhibition at closely associated, National University of Ireland, Galway. Previous to her time in Ireland, she studied Fine Art & English with Writing emphasis at Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, receiving her BA Degree with Highest Honors June 2003.
She has long worked in a variety of media ranging from oil painting, pastel, ceramics, stained glass & stone to paper, leather & fiber sculpture as well as installation & performance. She has also worked intensely with text & the combining of the literary & visual arts. Her past public exhibitions include group shows in the Napa Valley, Lake County & Fresno Ca, Medford, Ashland& Toledo Or, Memphis TN & western Ireland.
